Mexico Punta Colonet
About
Many Slavic church communities have visited Mexico since 2000's. Church groups and humanitarian aid teams travel to Mexico to help the poor and spread the gospel in any way they can.
Mission Pathway to God has sent several groups to Mexico and regularly visits Punta Colonet, Baja California a small agricultural community. Many farm workers in the area live in poverty, barely making enough to survive. They are always grateful for the help they receive and eager to hear about God.
During previous visits, we worked extensively with Pastor José, who leads a congregation of a few dozen members. His church is the only non-Catholic church in Punta Colonet. Pastor José regularly assists with translation and opens his church to visiting missionaries. Currently, their rented space is small and not centrally located. A larger, more accessible location is needed to accommodate more people and expand the church’s outreach.
God has placed it on our hearts to build a church in the Punta Colonet area a place to teach and equip the local community, distribute humanitarian aid, and provide lodging for visiting missionaries. With a central location, we can more effectively serve those in need and proclaim the gospel.

Church
With the new church and missionary base, we now have a central location to teach and equip the local community, distribute humanitarian aid, and host visiting missionaries. This allows us to serve more people, strengthen the local church, and continue spreading the gospel in the region.

Spring Break
Short term
Trip
Every year during Spring Break, a group of passionate teens from Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, embark on a life-changing mission trip to Punta Colonet, Mexico. This journey is dedicated to spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, serving the poor, and making a tangible difference in the local community.
Throughout the trip, participants engage in various acts of service, including assisting local schools with essential maintenance work, providing support to families in need, and visiting churches to encourage and uplift fellow believers. This mission is not only an opportunity to serve but also a time of spiritual growth, fellowship, and deepening one’s faith through acts of love and kindness.
Join us in making an impact—one heart, one home, and one community at a time.
